Our Score
This endearing yet still tedious slice of 1960s nonsense stars Carry On stalwart Kenneth Connor as the Martian mediator in the war between Beatland and Balladisle - we all know rockin' hepcats and lounge lizards are mortal enemies, right? With the threat of exile to the planet Gonk hanging over the proceedings, a Romeo and Juliet-style romance between the factions is arranged, providing the excuse for a seemingly endless parade of forgettable songs. Lulu and Ginger Baker are among the misguided musicians doing their best in this daft flop.

An alien is sent to Earth to resolve a rivalry between two music fandoms by making members of the groups fall in love. Comedy sci-fi musical, with Kenneth Connor and Terry Scott.
