An Irish priest and eight other innocents are abducted and incarcerated in an escape-proof house in this meandering horror thriller. It's heavily indebted to Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None but there's a soupçon of Saw and a dash of Battle Royale thrown in for good measure, too, as the $5 million prize offered by a disembodied voice will only go to the last person left alive. The fact Hollywood maverick Dennis Hopper plays the man of God piques some interest (inconsistent accent notwithstanding), as does a cast of familiar British TV types including Kelly Brook, Ashley Walters and Doctor Who Peter Capaldi. However, that's more than can be said for the sketchy characterisation or lack of suspense. Even the bloodletting that eventually erupts is tame by contemporary standards - odd since director Steven R Monroe had no trouble getting down and gruesome with his remake of infamous video nasty I Spit on Your Grave a few years later.
