The Beach Boys: Doin' It Again

Who are those crusty geezers in slacks and Hawaiian shirts, frugging like uncles at a wedding? They’re the greatest pop band who ever lived, son. This documentary joins Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Mike Love and the more recently arrived members of the Beach Boys as they get back together and play live to commemorate half a century since Surfin’ Safari. Those celestial harmonies are still there.

Half an hour in, there’s something really magical: Good Vibrations overlaid with unseen 16mm footage of it being created in the studio.
