Series 28 - 38. The Family Way

Ash’s mind isn’t on his job and he ends up walking out of a staff meeting. But in true medical drama style, there are plenty of neat parallels to be found in the patients being treated in the ED. Three women with fractured relationships with their fathers are in need of treatment – look out, in particular, for a textbook Casualty accident in an Italian restaurant that involves brandy, a pan and an unfortunately angled kitchen knife.

Other developments see a championship bodybuilder seeking help after being superglued into bra and suspenders by a rival (where do they come up with these ideas?), while Jeff is banjaxed by the sudden return of paramedic Tamzin Bayle.

About this programme

38/48. After a horrible accident at their family-run restaurant, two sisters are brought in to be treated - but as their father shows more interest in one than the other, their sibling rivalry threatens to tear them apart. Tess tries to help a pregnant teenager stand up to her controlling father, while a bodybuilder's choice of underwear raises eyebrows. Ash and Zoe realise Connie has been playing them off against one another, and paramedic Tamzin returns to Holby.
