By Any Means

Series 1 - Episode 2

By Any Means

By Any Means is a wisecracking adventure yarn that owes much to classic American hokum like Hart to Hart, Charlie’s Angels and even Scooby-Doo. There’s a gang of good guys who bring the bad guys to justice by any means (geddit?).

It’s tosh but then it has no pretentions to be The Fall or Line of Duty, and it has the assured hand of Tony Jordan (Hustle, which it resembles) on the tiller, so it’s likeable too. The Tough Guy, the Totty and the Techie are once again in their bunker, doing jobs that are too dirty for the police, catching ruffians who evade justice. The latest miscreant is a bent ex-barrister turned bent private eye, who frames for murder the judge who put him away.
