This week, Star Wars series Andor returns to Disney Plus for more spy games with Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), a Rebel hero who’s sent on dangerous missions to fight back against the evil Galactic Empire. The second season is structured similarly to the first, but each three-arc story here picks up a year later, leading us directly into the timeframe preceding the events of Rogue One and the plans to steal the Death Star.

Meanwhile, the fifth and final season of You has just landed on Netflix, returning to the show's original home of New York City after the explosive turn of events in season 4. Penn Badgley's Joe Goldberg has got his happy-ever-after – or has he? Ghosts from his past soon start to threaten his seemingly perfect new life with partner Kate, played by Ghosts star Charlotte Ritchie. Joe is arguably in the most terrifying position he's been in since the beginning of the series – with newfound fame, fortune and the world pretty much at his billionaire fingertips, will justice ever prevail?

Also on Disney Plus, one-off feature film Flintoff paints a portrait of one of Britain's most famous sports stars, Andrew Flintoff, including his pivotal role in winning two Ashes series for England. However, everything changed in 2022, when the presenter was involved in a very serious car crash while filming a stunt for Top Gear, the motoring show he was then hosting alongside Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris.

The former sportsman recovered over a period of seven months away from the public eye, and this documentary gives viewers an insight into what was going on behind closed doors.

If films are more your thing, there are plenty of fresh releases to choose from. Cinematic blockbusters such as A Real Pain, A Complete Unknown and Bridget Jones: Mad about the Boy are now available on the small screen, plus there's fun for all the family with Despicable Me 4, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Mufasa: the Lion King and Moana 2 - as well as recent Netflix arrival Paddington in Peru, in which the Brown family finally takes a trip to the beloved bear’s birthplace to visit his Aunt Lucy, but she’s nowhere to be found. So begins a side-splitting search mission along the Amazon - be sure to pack your marmalade sandwiches!

You could also try Havoc, a new high-octane detective thriller starring Tom Hardy; the Oscar-nominated adaptation of Colson Whitehead's novel Nickel Boys; or The Outrun, in which Saoirse Ronan plays a young woman recovering from alcohol addiction who retreats to the Orkney Islands.
