EastEnders spoilers: Max Branning punches Carl White to the ground – first look pictures

Max Branning may want to prove to Walford that he’s innocent of tampering with the Carl White’s car, but it doesn’t look like he’s doing his case any good at all.

After coming under suspicion of causing the crash that injured Carl and landed Phil in hospital, Max will head to the Vic to show that he has nothing to hide.

But a confrontation ensues outside the pub’s doors after Carl purposefully winds Max up. Aware that he has an audience, Carl makes a sly comment about Kirsty, which leads to the fiery Branning brother punching his enemy to the ground.

But will this rash move make Max look guiltier than ever? Find out in the episode airing tonight (BBC1, 8.00pm).
