Who’s going to be on Strictly Come Dancing 2016?
Here are the celebrity names spinning around that glittery rumour mill...

Judge Rinder
As ITV’s reality judge, Rinder is used to pressure – and according the The Sun, Strictly producers think he will be an entertaining, tough-talking contestant. “Anybody who has watched Judge Rinder will know that he is going to be a brilliant match for Craig,” said a source. He may not have much of a dance background but he’s certainly got enough personality and tenacity to get through even the toughest ballroom challenges…
Ruth Langsford
This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford and her husband Eamon Holmes have been rumoured for Strictly Come Dancing for as long as we can remember. But this might actually be their year. In fact, 56-year-old Langsford has all but admitted she’s in talks to take part, by refusing to talk about the dancing competition during a cut away to Loose Women. Asked by Phillip Schofield if there was any truth to the rumours, Ruth replied: “Well I can’t reveal that can I…? You’re not allowed to say if you are or you’re not,” adding: “I can’t tell you that!”
Craig Revel Horwood is certainly keen for the duo to appear, saying later on in the show: “Wouldn’t it be great to have a husband and wife team on the show. They should make it happen, I would love to see it.”
Ryan Thomas
The Coronation Street star could be hotfooting it from the cobbles to the dance floor later this year. He’s on the “long list” of names being considered according to a report in the Mirror. Indeed, his brother Scott (currently a contestant on ITV2’s Love Island) told us that while Ryan doesn’t have a clear plan of what he wants to do after he leaves the soap, he thinks reality shows are in mind: “I’ve said that to him, to do more reality. That’s where the money is! I think he will eventually do stuff like that.”
His recent workout regime has further added fuel to the fire that that show could be Strictly…
