First they infuriated fans by bringing reality TV stars into ‘civilian’ Big Brother and now the powers that be have upset BB devotees by allowing one housemate access to the outside world.

One of the most important elements of Big Brother in days of old was the lack of contact with anyone who wasn’t in the house, so fans aren’t impressed that the once iron-clad rule has now been dropped.
I don't like this whole Facebook live thing, the who point of big brother was no contact with the outside world for a few weeks no? #BBUK

Can BB REALLY still be the same when someone can talk to the public?
I like Tom as a housemate, but the People's housemate goes against everything that BB is about! NO CONTACT WITH THE OUTSIDE WORLD! #BBUK

Fans say nae.
I can't stand this people's HM NONSENSE, having contact with the outside world completely destroys the meaning of Big Brother #BBUK

They believe it gives contestants an unfair advantage…

… and defeats the purpose of the reality TV series.
THE WHOLE POINT OF BIG BROTHER IS THEY DON'T HAVE CONTACT WITH THE OUTSIDE WORLD #BBUK

Is this even Big Brother any more?
this literally isn't even big brother when one hg has access to the outside world and is able to share all that info with everyone #bbuk

Wish they went back to having zero contact with the outside world from the moment they enter the house #BBUK

Should Big Brother scrap the Facebook Lives and send the housemates back into exile?
