Lærke Winther as Lisa Markham
Lisa is Gabriel’s wife. She knows her husband has demons but sticks by him all the same. She does, however, have a secret that she’s been keeping from Gabriel for years, and when it emerges it threatens to ruin their marriage.
Where do I recognise her from?
Winther is a Danish actress who has appeared in many Nordic shows, including Grand danois, Dicte: Crime Reporter and Bankerot. This is her first role in a major British drama.
Reece Ritchie as DC Asim Fry and Kieran Bew as DI Mike Sutherland
Asim is affectionate and emotionally switched-on. He is gay but doesn’t want his sexuality to define him. He is also prone to flying off the handle at times. Mike, on the other hand, is what you’d describe as a “straightforward bloke”. He’s not keen on talking emotions – and when a romantic relationship between him and Asim begins, he is reluctant to make it public.
Where do I recognise them from?
Ritchie played the love interest of Susie Salmon in the 2009 movie The Lovely Bones and also starred alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the film Hercules. His TV roles include White Heat, Pete Versus Life and The Bill.
You might know Bew from Jimmy McGovern’s The Street, Silent Witness or WPC 65. But he’s also starring in Liar – an ITV drama which is written by the same brothers as Rellik, and which airs at exactly the same time.
