Indian Summers 

Channel 4’s latest period drama, filmed in stunning Malaysia, charts the turbulent final chapter of British rule in India. And while we should be learning things, or at least focusing on the dramas, secrets and scandals of the ruling classes, we’re mainly thinking about flip flops, yoga retreats and G&Ts. It’s all those sweltering days, balmy nights and exotic views. We’re not proud of ourselves, okay? We just need a holiday.

Broadchurch 

Broadchurch’s beach and the cliffs are meant to look a little ominous, but we can’t stop daydreaming of 99 flakes, old fashioned buckets and spades, penny arcades and the feeling of sand between our toes.
