When it comes to British acting royalty you don’t get much better than Edward Fox. Father to Silent Witness star Emilia and her brother, Freddie, the double BAFTA Award winner (for The Go Between and A Bridge Too Far) is a seasoned star of stage and screen.

From Edward & Mrs Simpson to Gandhi, The Day of The Jackal, The Bounty and Wild Geese II, he has taken on numerous roles on the big screen throughout his career. He even portrayed Winston Churchill in Peter Morgan’s The Audience on stage with Helen Mirren.

David Hayman – Brace

The Delaney family’s manservant David is delighted to see James return, and can’t fathom how the young man knows so many of the secrets he’s kept for years…

Probably best known as Trial & Retribution’s Chief Supt. Michael Walker, David Hayman first gained national attention when he played Barlinnie Prison convict turned sculptor, Jimmy Boyle, in the film A Sense of Freedom.

Other film credits include The Tailor of Panama, The Jackal, Ordinary Decent Criminal, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and Hope and Glory. He’s also a director, with his study of convicts in Barlinnie Prison (Silent Scream) and The Hawk starring Helen Mirren, about a woman who begins to suspect her husband is a serial killer.

Franka Potente – Helga

Run Lola Run star Potente is probably best known for playing Jason Bourne’s love interest, Marie Helena Kreutz, in the film franchise. But the German actress also had critically acclaimed roles in films like Blow and Che, as well as popping up in Eichmann.
