Sian Brooke as Natalie Brown
Friend and neighbour Natalie struggles with her conscience as she becomes convinced that Karen knows more than she is revealing.

Siobhan Finneran as DC Christine Freeman
Freeman is the lead detective on Shannon’s case. She is compassionate but firm – and quickly begins to sense that Karen is not being entirely honest. There is a slight power struggle between her and Julie as they begin to step on each other’s toes during the investigation.
Where do I recognise Siobhan Finneran from?
Finneran plays Clare Cartwright in Happy Valley, and you might also know her from The Syndicate and her role as devious lady’s maid O’Brien in Downton Abbey.
Dean Andrews as PC Steve Kinchin
Kinchin is a local police officer and close friend of Julie’s.
