It’s back to the scene of the crime as No Offence gets a second series

Viv Deering and her team will face more gruelling challenges in the second round of Paul Abbott's darkly comic police drama

Round two of Shameless creator Paul Abbott’s police drama will see DI Vivienne Deering (Joanna Scanlan), DC Dinah Kowalska (Elaine Cassidy) and DS Joy Freers (Alexandra Roach) back for eight new episodes set within the Manchester police force.

Will Mellor, Paul Ritter, Colin Salmon, Ste Johnston will also be returning to help the top cops work out another set of difficult, mysterious crimes.

The show has been praised for its strong female characters and bold, unflinching portrayal of disability, crime and violence. When previewed the first episode in May, we called the new series an “addictive, funny and disturbing cop show with the glorious humanity of Shameless.”
