Downton Abbey to end after series six – the Twitter reaction
Julian Fellowes' ITV drama is to end later this year, and social media has opinions about it…
So, it’s official. As suggested by RadioTimes.com last October, ITV period drama Downton Abbey is to end after its sixth series. And, of course, those folks over at Twitter.com had something to say about it.
First the news broke…

Six seasons and nothing happened (except some gifs of Maggie Smith and Snatch Game) #DowntonAbbey

I don't understand why people are so upset about @DowntonAbbey ending with #season6 I'd rather this than 14 season of nothing

The last episode of Downton Abbey is set on the first day the show was aired, when they all sit down to watch the first episode…

In the final episode of Downton Abbey, we discover the entire thing has been taking place inside one of David Cameron’s tears.
