Fans are (ahem) on the fence about Aidan Turner’s Poldark debut
The Hobbit actor plays a Cornish officer in a remake of the 70s period drama this Sunday and there's no excitement whatsoever...
Poldark is returning to our screens this Sunday in a revamp of the 1970s TV series based on Winston Graham’s 18th century romantic saga. Aidan Turner, best known for Being Human and The Hobbit trilogy, is taking on the title role. But fans just can’t seem to make up their mind about how they feel about the whole thing…
Many don’t seem to care when it’s on…
Stay home on Sunday 8th March at 9pm - #POLDARK first episode on tv!

There’s zero interest in Aidan Turner in the lead role:
Imagine having a job that involves touching up @AidanTurner's arms between takes. #Poldark begins this Sunday at 9pm. pic.twitter.com/P3DskcXkbV

They could probably have a stand-in for Aidan Turner and no one would be any the wiser…

No one’s even really talking about it…
My mum just phoned and asked me if I'm going to watch #poldark. 15 minutes later, she managed to escape…

Does anyone even know who Aidan Turner is?
Would just like to point out I was an Aidan Turner fan wayyyyy before all of The Hobbit and Poldark so he's mine by rights #handsoff #❤️

No effort has gone towards supporting the actor…
