Radio Times has released a free, exclusive fourteen-page Downton Abbey supplement for this week’s iPad and iPhone edition of the magazine. As part of the Newsstand issue, this in-depth look at Julian Fellowes’ ITV drama is packed with interviews and behind-the-scenes secrets of the last four series of the show. An essential for any Downton fan.
And that’s not all… This is the first supplement in a four-part Downton series that will continue over the next three issues of the Radio Times.
This week’s edition looks at series one, set between 1912 and 1914, in which Fellowes reveals the truth behind Downton’s great romance between Matthew Crawley and Lady Mary and talks about his long-time admiration of Dame Maggie Smith.
The Downton creator also interviews the writers and producers who make the programme such a hit, plus the Dame herself gives an exclusive interview and discusses the Oscars, Harry Potter and playing “mean old bags”.
The exclusive Downton Abbey supplement is available now, free with the Newsstand edition of Radio Times for iPad or iPhone
