Gogglebox dedicates Brexit special to the late Caroline Aherne
The special edition of the show ends with a heartfelt message for its former narrator

Tonight's Gogglebox Brexit special has been dedicated to the late Caroline Aherne.
The beloved comedian, actress and writer, who sadly lost her battle with cancer last month, narrated the Channel 4 show from 2013. As the 'box on the box' series returns to screens tonight for an EU Referendum-themed edition, it closes with a message that reads 'In loving memory of Caroline Aherne'.
It's the first time the series has been back on air since Aherne's passing and is a fitting tribute to the much-missed star.
Her death, at 52 years of age, was confirmed in July.
"Caroline Aherne has sadly passed away, after a brave battle with cancer," said a statement from her publicist Neil Reading.
As well as her work on Gogglebox, Aherne boasted experience on a raft of popular shows, not least The Royle Family, which she co-wrote and starred in with Gogglebox co-narrator Craig Cash. It ran for three series between 1998 and 2000, returning for five more specials between 2006 and 2012.
