Audience member Ken Bone was the real winner of the Trump vs Clinton US presidential debate
"Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear snazzy red sweaters."

The 2016 presidential debates will forever be synonymous with one man – and it’s not Donald Trump.
As Trump went head-to-head with Hillary Clinton in front of a “town hall” full of undecided voters, audience member Kenneth Bone was the break-out star after the moustachioed, red jumper-wearing, somewhat rotund American stood up to ask a question.
Beaming and looking chuffed to be there, Bone asked the candidates: “What steps will your energy policy take to meet our energy needs while at the same time remaining environmentally friendly and minimising job loss for power plant workers?”
And the internet crowned him the “real winner” of the debate for his probing questioning, fashion sense and general demeanour.
Ken was even a hit with former President Bill Clinton.

The internet was certainly a fan of his white shirt and white tie and red jumper combo.
Just found my costume for Halloween: Ken Bone. White pants, white shirt, white tie, red Christmas sweater. Watch out, ladies! #debates

Somehow he just won everyone’s hearts.
U.S. history books, 2150: “And in that moment, the republic was saved by a man named Ken Bone.”
