We've said it before and we'll say it again: Horrible Histories is one of the best things on TV – and the irreverent children's historical series attracts a star-studded cast to prove it.

The latest recruit to the informative and amusing kids' comedy is Rowan Atkinson. The Mr Bean and Blackadder star has embodied infamous British monarch Henry VIII for an episode of the show's sixth season. And not only is Atkinson channelling the king, who famously had six wives; he's also singing a song as him, in the style of rock 'n' roll royalty Elvis Presley. Because why not?

Donning an impressively bushy ginger wig and beard, plus the obligatory Tudor tights, Atkinson lends his vocal chords to a rewritten version of 1968 hit A Little Less Conversation.

Featuring lyrics like "a little more reformation a little less monasteries", it is a little less catchy than the original but a brilliant way to spend two-and-a-half minutes all the same...
