Review

For this latest observational series, cameras have joined the Sentinels, Suffolk Police’s elite vehicle squad. It’s staffed by officers with nicknames like Moony and Mufty, and at the moment they’re very much concerned with county lines drugs trafficking around Ipswich. This means receiving intelligence from London that possible courier cars are on their way north – can they be intercepted? And what do you do when the drivers are Albanian and claim to have no ID on them? Sometimes the arrest that can be made is not the one that’s intended.

Local crime prevention is no easier, as two officers discover when they stop a car that’s been previously flagged. The driver is not happy, and the situation is complicated when bystanders stick their noses in.
