Episode 4: Anglesey

Summary

Rosie Jones is joined by fellow comedian Jenny Eclair for an `outdoorsy' adventure on the island of Anglesey in north Wales. The pair discover they'd make terrible farmers when they try their hand at sheep herding and visit the island's many Neolithic stone sites. Rosie takes Jenny on a horse ride along the waterfront, and they take to the skies on the world's fastest zip wire. As the sun sets, they meet a coast craft expert, who teaches them essential survival skills on one of the island's many picturesque beaches - and it's quickly evident they'd not last more than few hours if left to fend for themselves. Narrated by Olivia Colman. Last in the series.

Review

“Don’t worry,” Rosie Jones reassures Jenny Eclair before they experience the fastest zip wire in the world. “If you fall to your death, we’ve got Dawn French on standby.”

The pair are in Anglesey, Wales (they can’t go to Cardiff because Rosie says she’s banned from there) where Jenny turns out to be a dab hand at shaving the intimate parts of sheep as well as being an expert at salt tasting. Of course, they don’t take anything seriously, certainly not the spell-casting session with a pagan witch at an ancient site that Jenny reckons looks as though Stonehenge has had a fall.
