Review

By “Global Adventure”, what Sky Nature essentially means is “clips package”, but when the standard of the highlights is this high, it doesn’t really matter. What we get is previously unseen footage plus excerpts from such recent docs as Rise of Animals and Conquest of the Skies that are all being used to show how undimmed Attenborough’s curiosity remains.
So we witness him, for example, jumping from China to Spain to reveal new details of dinosaur history. Or conducting research on the high seas by taking a deep dive in a submersible on the Great Barrier Reef. it’s a visually stunning biology lecture from a man with the planet and ace camera crews at his disposal.
