Review

If you don’t like it when people lose their way in the Den, when they become flustered, forget figures or get caught out on the difference between gross and net profit — steer clear of tonight’s opener. It’s that painful Dragons’ Den thing of a decent product (a foam roller for back pain) but with an inventor who seems hazy on the business side of things. Can he turn it around?

Also seeking investment are two women who make necklaces with detachable reading glasses: genius or a bit naff? “Oops, it’s come apart” are words no entrepreneur wants to hear. And look out for (ie avoid) the nightclub pitch that gets Touker Suleyman dancing. Once seen, never forgotten.
