Adaptation of the National Theatre of Scotland's award-winning stage play about the life of a young transgender man, inspired by the life of Adam Kashmiry, who also takes the lead role. Born in Egypt, Adam was classed as female at birth but always knew he was male. Trapped in the wrong body, in a deeply conservative society, he knew he had to escape.
