Review

Cassie finds solace in the persistent and good-tempered Buckley. A boozy brunch followed by one-too-many drinks at a local bar spark a drunken escapade around New York City. Cassie, in her inebriated state, tries to make amends with a furious Ani. Reeling from their fallout, Cassie drowns her sorrows by embarking on another wild adventure that lands both her and Buckley behind bars.

Alone in her cell, Cassie is bombarded by flashbacks of her childhood, which force her to confront some uncomfortable truths about her upbringing. Meanwhile, Miranda continues to hunt down Cassie and Megan embarks on yet another surreptitious mission. It’s outstanding work from Kaley Cuoco, who brings both tantalising nuance and startling originality to her performance.
