Episode 10: Activate Jamali

Summary

In the series grand final, Charlotte Ritchie stumbles into some sand, Lee Mack dunks Little Alex Horne and Sarah Kendall stacks fish fingers. Meanwhile, Jamali Maddix staggers around a bit and Mike Wozniak staggers absolutely everyone - again - all in a bid to secure the most coveted prize in television - Greg Davies' golden head nestled on a spike. Last in the series.

Review

It is a truth widely acknowledged that Mike Wozniak has run away with this 11th series of Taskmaster. In a panel of – of course – brilliantly funny people, he has stolen the show with a mix of cartoon mannerisms, quaint turns of phrase and a commitment to doing as he’s told (whatever the cost) that is very endearing and slightly nuts.

But has he also won the series? We find out tonight in the series final. And before things get going, Mike demonstrates his commitment once again with a jawdropper of a TV moment in the prize round that I won’t spoil. Then there are the usual odd challenges – making this, weighing that, doing the other while blindfolded.

Greg Davies teases everyone as only he can. Jamali Maddix gets him mixed up with Dara O Briain. Lee Mack makes Alex Horne hoist him bodily over a photocopier. Charlotte Ritchie looks in torment. And we end with a glimpse of llama-geddon.
