Episode 3: Run Up a Tree to the Moon

Summary

Contestants Charlotte Ritchie, Jamali Maddix, Lee Mack, Mike Wozniak and Sarah Kendall vie once more, as Taskmaster Greg Davies presides. On this edition, Lee attempts an audacious hammer throw, Sarah makes sitting down memorable and Jamali forgets his passport. As usual, Alex Horne offers the intrepid contenders moral support.

Review

The Taskmaster panel is like an unruly class of schoolkids, with tetchy Mr Davies trying to keep them under control. Greg Davies [italics] was [italics] once a teacher of course and there’s a great moment tonight when everyone is getting mouthy, telling him how many points they want, when he suddenly shouts “Abbeb bub bub bub bub!” to silence them in a nicely teacher-y way.

Otherwise, it’s an episode with one beautifully simple task – come up with a new way to remember the number of days in each month – and a less simple one involving a maze of those barriers you get at airport check-ins, which Lee Mack describes as “Last of the Summer Wine meets The Krypton Factor”.
