Episode 6: The Offered Fallacy

Summary

Frank and Lu must clear their names when they are framed for various crimes by some mysterious doppelgangers. Starring Mark Benton and Jo Joyner.

Review

One of the joys of these mysteries is seeing the disguises Sebastian gets to don in each episode – and today we have three corkers in the space of 45 minutes.

But the wannabe actor-turned-secretary isn’t the only person playing the impersonation game – two Frank and Lu lookalikes are at large defrauding clients and abusing animals (well, the doppelganger Hathaway reportedly kicked a chihuahua). Can the real detectives clear their names and discover why they’ve been targeted?

Expect a few unexpected twists and the most sedate chase scene ever as Frank (Mark Benton) tries to catch up with his double (a canny bit of casting here, with Victor McGuire aka Jack Boswell from Bread playing the criminal).
