What we all need after a few days cooped up supine on the sofa, is a brisk walk and some bracing fresh air. Well don’t worry, you don’t have to move a muscle or even take off your light-up Rudolph novelty slippers, simply watch Paul Murton stride around some of Scotland’s glorious lochs in a series first shown on BBC Scotland earlier this year.

He starts his odyssey on the Argyll coast and the sacred sands of Kilmory Bay on Loch Sween. He spots an industrious beaver on Lilly Loch in the Knapdale Forest and later joins a bunch of steam enthusiasts restoring an old puffer on the Crinan Canal.
