Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The dust has settled, the votes have been cast, and the United States has a new President – and now scabrous comedian Frankie Boyle is here to rake over the ashes of one of the most bitterly-fought elections in history.

If it’s anything like his autopsy of the 2015 UK election expect nihilism, near-the-knuckle gags and some genuinely insightful criticism, delivered with the help of guests Katherine Ryan and Sarah Pascoe in front of a live studio audience.

Here’s hoping it’s NOT, as Boyle predicted, “one of the final comedy shows before a full scale nuclear war.” We’d probably want to finish with something a bit more cheery.
