Just when you thought Christmas might be cancelled this year, Mariah Carey saves the day. She joins Graham Norton this evening to talk about her Magical Christmas Special, a combination of “music, dancing and animation, driven by a universally heart-warming story that brings the world together”.

If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, then the effervescent Nadiya Hussain – another of his guests – certainly will. Since winning The Great British Bake Off in 2015 she’s cheered and inspired us with both her baking and her honesty about her struggles with anxiety. Plus astronaut Tim Peake is, ahem, over the moon to chat about his recently published autobiography Limitless.
