While being held on remand in the prison, Yasmeen has been looking increasingly like a scared, starved little bird. So much so that I’ve been worried Corrie has been banning actor Shelley King from going home at night and insisting she wear that tabard around the clock. Unfortunately, though, there’s more trauma coming tonight as Yasmeen stands in the witness box at her trial and has her version of events picked apart by the prosecution barrister.
Away from the courtroom, Grief Corner (aka Victoria Gardens) is being decorated for little Oliver’s memorial service. There have been more tears shed at that tiny patch of local greenery than at an onion chopping convention.
