London SW19 had to go without Wimbledon this year but at least London SE10 — in the form of the O2 Arena — will once again welcome the end-of-season ATP finals.

The eight qualifiers are an intriguing mix. Thirty-somethings Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal represent the old guard. There’s Austria’s Dominic Thiem, fresh from winning the US Open, his first Grand Slam. At 28, Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman is a year older than Thiem but making his ATP finals debut, as is the 23-year-old Russian, Andrey Rublev.

The remaining trio are all 24 or under: last year’s champion, Stefanos Tsitsipas, from Greece; Daniil Medvedev of Russia; and the German Alexander Zverev. Today’s final will be the climax of eight days’ intense competition.

Summary

Coverage from the O2 of the final at the season-ending ATP Finals, which is sure to be a memorable occasion as it is the last time that the star-studded event is to be staged in London. Last year's final at the same venue was a classic with Stefanos Tsitsipas battling past Dominic Thiem in the final-set tie-break of an epic match that lasted over two and a half hours.
