Review

That’s nearly it for the first round of The Voice Kids with this being the last of Blind Auditions. This always feels like the tensest of the show’s rounds, although you wouldn’t know it from watching the calm and composed kids up on stage. They often feel by far the least anxious in the studio, with the eagerness from the coaches palpable through the screen, and the parents and guardians on the sideline being the ones left in tears of joy and sorrow as they look on at their protégés.

Among the final contenders stepping up to the mic include a brother-and-sister duo and the son of a famous 90s songwriter.

Summary

Emma Willis hosts the final day of the blind auditions in the junior version of the singing talent contest. The Voice UK's Will.i.am returns as one of the four coaches, with McFly's Danny Jones and fellow pop stars Pixie Lott and Paloma Faith occupying the other spinning red chairs. Youngsters between the ages of seven and 14 display their musical talents in a bid to win a £30,000 prize to contribute to their musical education, along with a family holiday to Universal Orlando Resort.
