If you’re looking for moral guidance, I really wouldn’t bother with village vicar Harriet. She’s been doing her “out damned spot” routine for weeks in the aftermath of Malone’s murder as she constantly washes her hands. And she’s now set to exhibit further worrying behaviour when she gets drunk while supposedly looking after little Lucas. By the week’s end, you can expect the authorities to be getting involved - and we all know how speedily soap social workers separate children from families.

In other news, Paul’s gambling habit is once again in danger of being exposed. I bet you any money you’d like he finds a way of covering it up yet again.

Summary

Rhona and Marlon hope to move things on with their relationship, it is Lucas' birthday, and Gabby is delighted by Kim's suggestion.
