The lives of the guys are suddenly at a crossroads. Adam is out of work and in need of a purpose. David is wondering whether to give his relationship with ex-wife Robyn another go. And Pete is under the misapprehension that he’s been given a “free pass” to sleep with another woman because wife Jen is grieving while also dealing with the menopause. (If this makes Pete sound like a selfish so-and-so, then good.)

Thankfully, nobody uses the term “midlife crisis” because Cold Feet is more subtle and inventive than that. But we’ve certainly come a long way since the three amigos were carefree 30-somethings without a crease in their collective brows.

Summary

Adam comes out on top, but his excitement is short-lived when reality hits, while Karen is put in an impossible position. In the wake of her mother's death, Jenny makes a discovery that sends her into a tailspin. John Thomson, James Nesbitt, Fay Ripley, Hermione Norris and Robert Bathurst star in Mike Bullen's long-running comedy drama.
