Review

After the high-stakes thrills of the first two episodes, the Doctor and her friends head off for a break at the Tranquillity Spa – but this being Doctor Who, it isn’t long before terrifying creatures are interrupting the R&R and raising questions about just how much this planet has been hiding.

“Deadlocked room with its own armoury – don’t tell me, honeymoon suite,” the Doctor notes drily as more and more of the resort’s façade strips away, though soon the jokes freeze up as her friends face some of the scariest monsters in the series’ recent past.

The guest stars are Breaking Bad’s Laura Fraser and The Inbetweeners’ James Buckley.

Summary

Having decided that everyone could do with a holiday, the Doctor takes Graham, Yasmin, Ryan to a luxury resort for a spot of rest and relaxation. However, they discover the place where they are having a break is hiding a number of deadly secrets. What are the ferocious monsters that are attacking Tranquillity Spa? Guest starring Laura Fraser and James Buckley, alongside Jodie Whittaker as the 13th incarnation of the Time Lord, and Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole as her trusty travelling companions.
