If there was any justice in the world, guests Ant and Dec would be made to eat camel tongue and lizard anus as a punishment for all those bushtucker trials on I’m a Celebrity. But they get off lightly when they join Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty in their pier-end café at Southend because they’re shown how to make – no, not that north-east favourite pan haggerty – but sushi.

They’ve always regretted not trying it when they toured Japan as PJ and Duncan, because now they absolutely love it, so a few maki rolls and some nigiri should get those tummies ready to rumble. But if you’re still a bit peckish, Jamie also knocks up an Italian steak and chips combo.

Summary

Presenters Ant and Dec join Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty in their cafe on Southend Pier. The Saturday Night Takeaway hosts love sushi, so Jamie and Jimmy help get them ready to rumble with a beginner's guide to Japanese cooking. Away from the bistro, Jamie rustles up a mouth-watering Italian-style steak and chips, while Jimmy demonstrates a simple crispy chicken that looks impressive without taking hours. Out on the road, Jamie and Jimmy train as baristas at a coffee company that helps homeless people get back on their feet.
