BBC2 are getting max value from Mark Ronson this week. On Saturday, he was the focus of the documentary From the Heart. Tonight, the producer and songwriter showcases a track from his new album, AND Jools has let him bring his protégé Yebba with him – she will be plugging her song Where Do You Go.

While Ronson’s in town he’d do well to strike up a collaboration with rapper Sampa the Great. Over from Sydney, via Zambia and Botswana, Sampa’s debut The Return was among this year’s most highly anticipated hip-hop albums. Blending sweet African melodies with west coast US textures and understated jazzy soul, it’s something of an epic.
