Series 1 - Episode 4

This is meant to be a thriller, but it mostly drifts along like an art-house movie, with slow scenes and long gaps between lines of dialogue, letting them hang in the air.

As for the plot, it inches forward. Craig Parkinson’s heavy is trying to trace Lee (Daniel Mays) as a way to track down that bag of stolen cash – an intriguing storyline that barely gets a look in. While at his secret surgical bunker under Temple tube station, Daniel (Mark Strong) is still hoping to find ways to fix his wife’s terminal illness as she lies in a coma, and we flash back to the time when he had an affair with Anna (Carice van Houten). But the drama has lost its momentum.

Things become complicated between Daniel and Anna as they battle to save someone they both love, while Lee takes a risk that endangers them all.
