A Russian chemical warfare expert is abducted in broad daylight outside the consulate, despite his armed security team. Once again OA lets his personal feelings and military history affect his attitude towards the scientist’s daughter, who’s angry at the (now dead) bodyguards’ failure to protect her father. How many more times will OA get away with this?

He and Maggie trace the snatch to a family with a history of railing at authority: “it was always school curriculum this, immigrants that” is how the local sheriff describes them. But now, with a stash of hydrogen cyanide and a chemist to help them, they’re upping the ante for what they call “judgement day”.
