If you’ve recently eaten your own body weight in Easter eggs, this week’s theme – chocolate – may not appeal so much. However, the four remaining patissier teams attack the challenges with gusto, frantically tempering, moulding, sculpting and filling exquisite chocolate goodies of all sorts. 

The showstopping task requires them to make a display with a masked ball theme featuring 48 chocolates and a moving part. However before this in, I think, a first for this series they’re given a previously unseen recipe by Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden to follow. It’s a bit like the Great British Bake Off’s fiendish technical challenge, then.

Summary

Four remaining teams tackle Asia Week tasks, with the judges Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin pushing them to their limits with a secret recipe challenge. For the Showpiece, the teams must construct chocolate towers with a moving part. By the end of the show, one team will have to leave the competition. Liam Charles and Tom Allen host.
