Review

“Ordinary decent criminal” Craig is on his seventh sentence at Jurby Prison on the Isle of Man. “I’m in for knife crime,” he explains. “I was in a fight with a bloke who had a knife and I managed to get it off him and stabbed him with it three times in self-defence.” He’s representing himself at trial, but will his argument (and a smart new suit) sway the jury?

George “Stores”, who runs the prison shop, has other problems. The women aren’t happy about him buying their underwear so suggest that an inmate should do it. Head of security Margo isn’t having any of it.
