Paramedic Iain tries to assuage his guilt over the deaths of Sam and Mia in the road accident by rushing to the aid of Mia’s hopeless addict boyfriend Base, who’s on the run from some menacing bald men. But Base is so annoying you can only hope they catch up with him.
Back at the hospital Dylan is rude and unsympathetic to a young medical student who’s rushed in after taking something wrong and bad at a nightclub. “It’s not my position to judge,” he tells her. What? That’s your sole job, Dylan: you’re in
, the staff judge everybody.
As for Alicia and Ethan, they try to find their way back to normality with a spot of decorating.
Iain returns to work, but there is a frosty atmosphere between him and Ruby. Whilst on a call Iain comes across an unconscious Base, and when he awakens Base explains he got kicked out the flat as it was Mia's. Elsewhere, David and Ciara fight over Dylan, and Alicia admits to Ethan that she is not ready for a relationship.
