Even if you haven’t got a romantic bone in your body, you’ll feel all warm and fuzzy after watching this. Yes, the magical Italian setting puts them in the right mood, but all three sets of daters hit it off before they’ve drunk their aperitifs. Glamorous Emma yearns for a Viking with a soft heart; David hopes for a man who’s not too tall; and Chloe wants a salty potato. It’s an Essex-ism for someone good-looking, she tells debonair maître d’ Fred Sirieix.

There’s giggling, suggestive eating, confidence-sharing and a little too much wine-drinking for one couple, who definitely get caught up in the moment.

Summary

Fred Sirieix and his team head to a luxury hotel in Italy to welcome singletons from all over the UK. Following a painful marriage, glamorous tattooed policewoman Emma meets carpenter Luke, in one of the most passionate dates in the show's history. Meanwhile, flight attendant David is finally ready to find love again, following the tragic suicide of his husband, and is set up on a date with fellow Bristolian Andrew, who has a lust for life and a thirst for fine Italian wines.
