Claudia Winkleman presents the semi-final of the culinary contest. For the first challenge the four remaining hopefuls must cater for a party, coming up with five canapes - four savoury, one sweet - and a drink, all displaying their individual style. They then have to come up with a dish using a choice of either orange or ginger as the key ingredient, and the cooks push themselves, knowing those who come up short will face the elimination round and the possibility of missing out on the final.
