Did Prince Harry not realise that you always have to check the fixture list before picking a date for the wedding? Ah well, live and learn: the royal guests will just have to scurry out of the reception to check the scores on their phones.

First up is Celtic v Motherwell (k/o 3pm) in the Scottish Cup final. The Steelmen are looking for an upset against a dominant Celtic, who are seeking an unprecedented back-to-back treble this year: Premiership, League Cup and Scottish Cup trophies.

Then it’s the FA Cup final, Chelsea v Manchester United (k/o 5.15pm) at Wembley. This will be United’s 20th final, after Ander Herrera scored the winner against Spurs in the semi-final. Eden Hazard, meanwhile, delivered a decisive performance for Chelsea in their semi-final win over Southampton. Both men have been linked to possible moves this summer – but until then, there’s Wembley work to be done.

Summary

Chelsea v Manchester United (Kick-off 5.15pm). Gary Lineker and Gabby Logan present coverage of the final, which takes place at Wembley Stadium, as Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho's men battle it out for the famous trophy. This is the third time these clubs have met in the showpiece match, and the first since the 2007 fixture, which ended 1-0 to the Blues after extra-time. Italian manager Conte also led his team to last year's final, but Arsene Wenger's Arsenal ended Chelsea's double dream with a 2-1 victory. With commentary by Steve Wilson and Martin Keown, and analysis from Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, Ruud Gullit and Phil Neville. Subsequent programmes are subject to change.
