Deadly demon Uta-Rhamen stalks Munty and our friends obviously don’t have a clue what to do in the jolly fantasy caper’s series-three finale. Steg has taken up dragon-spotting in the hope of finally having sex with the lovely Esme (Isy Suttie), while Brian joins the demon-defying local militia in the hope of making some easy money.

There are some deliciously funny moments, especially from Mark Heap’s cameo as bitter dragon enthusiast Florian. But the key to this show has always been its amiability, aided by some whip-smart plotting, which here brings everything together for a final scene that proves utterly joyous… not least because of its promise of another series.
