Episode 5: A Wind-Dried Puffin

Summary

Sally Phillips locks herself in the caravan with an amorous water cooler, and Aisling Bea cramsan Italian entree dish into a balloon. Alex Horne risks the wrath of his fierce employer Greg Davies with a cheeky unsanctioned task

Review

Poor Mark Watson. In this episode alone he’s faced with a task involving balloons (he has a phobia of them), attempts something very ambitious with a water cooler that in no way pays off and in another task pulls off an incredible feat which inexplicably lands him in last place.

The final indignation comes when it’s revealed that he’s done a pointless (well, even more pointless) task that was set for him and him alone, which in his own words “overshadowed” five months of his life and for which he is then “shattered” to receive no points. It’s futile, surprisingly full of pathos and also very, very funny.
